Job Title: Project Coordinator
Status: Non-Exempt
Reports to: Project Coordination Supervisor
GENERAL SUMMARY
The Project Coordinator is responsible for providing support to account teams. This position interfaces with all SideMark departments, including Account and Project Management, CAD/Design, and Accounting.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Create proposals in Team Design.
- Confirm credit terms and booking requirements.
- Order placement, including change orders as necessary.
- Maintain records for each sale or project.
- Verify and reconcile order acknowledgments in a timely manner.
- Provide order tracking and expediting support, and status reports for teams.
- Work with project managers to develop delivery schedules.
- Assist with completion of any punch list resolution.
- Process freight claims.
- Process vendor invoices and approve for payment.
- Initiate client invoicing.
- Vendor communications, including verification of pricing and discounting.
- Other duties as may be required to support the department or team.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Purchasing or project coordination experience preferred.
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Windows: Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Demonstrate attention to detail and team philosophy.
- Strong written and oral communications.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required. AA degree or certificate in Interior Design or related field preferred. 1-2 years purchasing or project coordination experience preferred.
