PPMSI, a company providing web-based insurance processing solutions for physicians, saw its move to new offices as an opportunity to update the company’s brand at every level. The firm changed its name to Pacific Partners, redesigned its graphic identity, and most significantly, transformed its 130-person office space into an open environment that signals the advanced nature of the company’s software and services. Teknion’s ie system was chosen as it can be configured in 15-degree increments, allowing for more flexibility. In addition, ie’s height options made it possible to create private offices within an open-plan setting. SideMark provided planning templates, which in addition to Teknion’s web-based tools, helped the interiors team to develop the non-typical overall space plan.
